1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally free to marry under applicable Indian law.
You must register yourself — proxy registrations on behalf of another person are not permitted.
All information provided during registration and thereafter must be true, accurate, and complete.
2 Account Responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials confidential — do not share them with anyone.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@smartrishtey.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Do not create multiple accounts for the same person.
3 Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension:
- False, misleading, or impersonation profiles
- Obscene, offensive, or defamatory content
- Soliciting money from other members
- Sharing personal contact info in profile text fields
- Automated scraping or data harvesting
- Commercial advertisements or spam

Membership fees are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Prices include applicable GST.
5 Intellectual Property
All content on this platform — including text, graphics, logos, and code — is the property of SmartRishtey.com and is protected under the Indian Copyright Act. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.
6 Limitation of Liability
SmartRishtey.com provides a technology platform to connect potential matrimonial partners. We do not verify member-provided information or guarantee the outcome of introductions.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the membership fee paid by you in the six months preceding the claim.
7 Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jharkhand, India. We encourage resolution of disputes first through our support team at support@smartrishtey.com.
8 Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
